FOX opens offices in Lima, Peru

As part of its expansion in the region, the new headquarters is staffed 100% by Peruvian personnel

FOX International Channels Latin America strengthens its operation in the local market and opens its new office in Lima, Peru, in order to meet the specific needsof members, advertisers and consumers directly and through local professionals.

The Group already has a unique feed for FOX Channel Peru, one of the main channels of its portfolio, marketed directly over a dozen signals like FOX, FX, NatGeo, FOX Sports, FOX Sports 2, FOX Sports 3, Utilísima, FOX Life, Film Zone, Cinecanal, Universal, Studio Universal and Syfy.

“This initiative is part of FOX expansion plan, in which Peru has a vital role. The launch of exclusive feeds, hiring actors and Peruvian specialists for our majororiginal productions and now the opening of an office is evidence of this and make a series of decisions aimed at generating in tune with the needs of each particular market, added value in permanent form,” said Carlos Martinez, president of Fox International Channels Latin America.

Meanwhile, Fernando Gualda, Senior VP and Country Manager of FOX International Channels Pacific Region, said: “Peru is a market with great potential andsteadily growing upward curve accompanying the Pay TV industry experience in the region,” he concluded.
