carliCarli Dávila was born in Puerto Rico and spent his early years delivering newspapers and selling mangoes from his backyard.  After graduating from Cornell University he moved to New York City to work with financial databases and investment banking while focusing his creative energy in writing satire for a nascent blogosphere.  

His life has been altered after spending 1 year backpacking, 40 days on a motorcycle, a month on a bicycle and 2 days learning how to whistle. 

As a creative strategist, Carli has worked in public relations and spearheaded the launch of Wapa.tv, Puerto Rico’s main TV station video site, and Bumbia.com, a digital video network focused on hispanic audiences and currently offering original and third-party programming in more than 20 content channels.  He keeps his sanity by doing standup and improv comedy.

 

 

rodrigoThe challenge of the video games is confronted by the prestigious University of Puerto Rico, Atlantic University College, an academic institution that has become the main research center of Central America and the Caribbean and one of the most important in Latin America, both for the number research programs, and the excellence achieved in this field.

At this summit, three of its leading experts in digital animation and Video Games make their contributions. Rodrigo Barasorda, program coordinator of digital animation and video games. He has directed commercials and television programs and series (Paracinema, El Cine de lo Anormal and the first horror social series in Mexico, Herida Abierta. This year completed his second feature film, After school, his directorial debut in the United States.   With all this creativity and experience, the creative will speak on genres and themes as anchors to attract audiences.
