Survivor’s Remorse
Basketball made it worth millions, but the path to fame is not exempt from arduous roads and remorse. On Tuesday FOX Comedy, premiered this series that enters in the world of basketball to show the least known facet of the lives of athletes.
Produced by renowned basketball player LeBron James the series tells the story of Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher, Independence Day 2, When the Game Stands Tall), a young man who suddenly becomes a sports star.
Cam grew up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Boston and never imagined he would reach fame and fortune in his twenties. After having signed a multimillion dollar contract with a professional basketball team, Cam becomes one of the great new promises of the sport, however, to be a star and make millions brings more challenges and problems and many will want to take advantage of this. With some guilt feelings and unable to forget his origins, Cam will have to decide who to help and who to leave behind on his way to fame.
With a second season confirmed, this series is starring Jessie T. Usher and Cam Calloway, RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Tichina Arnold and Mike Epps.
