JP Bommel
As result of the challenges imposed by the industry Rod Perth, current President and COO of the non-profit International Association NAPTE announced that JP Bommel officially joined the organization.
JP Bommel, former Vice President of business development, entertainment for Reed Midem, with an extensive experience with the global media and entertainment companies, became the COO of NATPE.
This was already voice populi when in March this year it was revealed that Perth was extending his contract until February 2016 as head of NATPE, to oversee the transition to new leadership and then join the board and management of NATPE. All this is part of a strategic succession plan designed to maintain the momentum of the organization, and to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.

The Board has selected JP Bommel after several candidates. “He is widely trained to serve NATPE and its members. Along with JP we will work side by side so that he can understand every aspect of our association,” explained the current President and COO of NATPE.
Before joining NATPE, JP Bommel was founder of Barton Creek Intl., which develops global events and created strategic alliances. He served as Vice President of business development, entertainment for Reed Midem from 2005-2013, where he was responsible for sales activity and the significant new business development for entertainment conferences such as MIPTV / MIPCOM and MIDEM (music). He received his education in Paris.
