In a communiqué the CEO of Sony Entertainment, Michael Lynton said Steve Mosko is now the Chairman of Sony Pictures Television and will continue to oversee all television operations of Sony Pictures Entertainment internationally, reporting to Lynton. After more than two decades at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Mosko oversees the global production of television, film distribution and television content and international networks of the studio available in more than 180 countries.

“Under the leadership of Steve, Sony Pictures Television has become the industry’s largest independent studio. Our media businesses have expanded to more than 150 feeds of channels worldwide, and the company is well positioned for growth in both production and distribution. Steve is a remarkable Executive, and we are proud to have him at the helm of Sony Pictures Television,” expressed Lynton.

The company also announced several appointments within its international distribution business: EVP International Distribution Mike Wald will oversee the distribution in the Asia-Pacific region; Angel Orengo was named EVP International Distribution, EMEA; International Distribution and EVP Alexander Marin will supervise Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. The announcements were made by Keith LeGoy, President of International Distribution, to whom the three executives will report. Additionally, Robert Lanier and Ken Lo, were named SVP International Distribution for the Asia-Pacific region.
