The work of the press chiefs of the big stage plays and spectacles never goes unnoticed thanks to the diffusion work to attract the media and the audience to the box office. Daniel Mejías, is a famous Argentinian for his work in his country and in Spain where he has lived for more than 20 years. For 7 years he was in charge of communications of Stage Entertainment, as responsible for the campaigns of great shows of the stature of “The Beauty and the Beast”“My Fair Lady”“Rent”“The Phantom of the Opera”“Cats”“Cabaret”  and  “Mamma Mia!” among others.

The entrepreneur told TVMAS that his biggest challenge was when he founded his agency in 2006, “I have kept myself in this exciting genre, which has given us titles like “40 El Musical”“Avenue Q”“Mas de 100 mentiras”“Hoy no me Puede Levantar”“Priscilla Queen of the Desert”; “Grease”; “Cabaret”; “Sonrisas y Lágrimas”; “El Ascensor”; “Billy Elliot” or “West Side Story”.

In the era of social networks

“The large-format shows in which I work on need to be seen in traditional media: newspapers, magazines, television, radio. In case the show is intended for very young people, if the networks are used as a means to reach the public. There are excellent professionals who are dedicated to it” he explained.

He has worked with personalities with great international successes, such as Paloma San Basilio, Raphael – The Monster of the Song, Joaquín Cortés, Les Luthiers, Mónica Naranjo, Niña Pastori and Falete among others. This year continues with “El Mago Pop”, “Billy Elliot, the Musical” and prepares “Escena de la Vida Conyugal” with Ricardo Darin and Argentine actress Andrea Pietra, a classic by Ingmar Bergman, directed by Norma Aleandro, with shows next fall in Spain.
