Globo reinforces presence in Europe and attends to MIPTV

After Berlinale, in March, and Series Mania, in April, betting on its series, the company presents to the European market the telenovela ‘Never Give Up’

Now in MIPTV in Cannes, the Company brings diverse portfolio with telenovelas and series. “Our presence in this event shows that we are open to new partnerships and business models, so that we can take our stories further’’, comments Fabio Mauro, Sales Manager at Globo.

Strengthening its presence in Europe, Globo will also attend MIPTV, event that brings together the most important brands of audiovisual in Cannes. The company will bring telenovela as ‘Never Give Up’ and ‘All the Flowers’, series as ‘ROTA 66: The Killer Unit’ and the second season of ‘We Are Five’ and documentaries like ‘Flordelis: Doubt or Worship’ and ‘On Behalf of God’.

After Berlinale, in March, and Series Mania, in April, betting on its series, the company presents to the European market the telenovela ‘Never Give Up’. Currently on air in Brazil, the production is a contemporary story, full of romance, humor and with a message of hope and faith in life and it is written by Rosane Svartman, author of the hits ‘Total Dreamer’ and ‘A Life Worth Living.’

Another highlight is the Globoplay Original ‘All the Flowers’. Created and developed directly for streaming, the project is a modern fairy tale, a contemporary thriller combined with a love story, vengeance and redemption. The telenovela is written by João Emanuel Carneiro, author of ‘Brazil Avenue’.

Aligned with the trend of true crime, Globo brings docuseries as ‘Flordelis: Doubt or Worship’, about the congresswoman investigated for killing her husband, and ‘On Behalf of God’, that follows the story of Medium João de Deus, since his childhood in the countryside of Goiás, until his conviction for sexual crimes.

Among its series, Globo brings to the event titles as the second season of ‘We Are Five’, that follows the life of five friends and discusses themes likes social inequity, racism, sexuality, and religion, ‘ROTA 66: The Killer Unit’, based on one of the most rigorous and extensive works of investigation and journalism.
