The soccer audience celebrated in Spain. The reason? Bein Sports, the football pay TV channel, will arrive in the European summer thanks to the alliance between Al Jazeera and the Spanish Mediapro group, which will distribute the signal to all digital platforms in the Iberian country.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the international news EFE agency, the President of Mediapro Jaume Roures, made the announcement in the New Communication Forum and assured that Al Jazeera is one of their best customers and partner in the production field and sports distribution.<\/p>\n

For some time, the Qatari group intends to reach the Spanish market, with the aim of launching their own channels to compete for the rights of League football. In addition, the market of Spain could be used as a base platform to strengthen its position in Latin America.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have worked together for 16 years and now together seek for audiovisual sports rights in Spain and beyond,\u201d assured Roures framing the good relationship with the Qatar media group.<\/p>\n

Bein Sports<\/span><\/i> pretends to go for more. It has a strong interest in launching a premium DTT channel when Spain convenes new licenses.<\/span><\/p>\n
