The company is regional and operates in the city of Cochabamba. With this new partnership, more than 75% of Bolivian homes with Pay TV will have access to the channel. Currently, Globo is available in seven operators in the Andean country: TIGO, COTEL, COTAS, COSETT, COTES, DIGITAL TV CABLE and COMTECO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Launched in 1999, Globo\u2019s international channels are the first Brazilian channels to be broadcast to the Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking audience living abroad, in digital quality, 24 hours a day. The network currently has seven cable TV channels, having over 2.2 million subscribers worldwide. Signals are transmitted via satellite, cable, IPTV and OTT. Programming includes real-time news, live sportscasts, telenovelas, miniseries, children and variety shows, which have won over audiences around the world over the years. The channel also shows exclusive programs dedicated to Portuguese-speaking communities living outside of the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Americas, it has the &#8216;Planeta Brasil\u2019 and &#8216;Globo Not\u00edcia Americas&#8217;, in addition to the &#8216;Boletim Globo Not\u00edcia Americas&#8217;, which brings news flashes during programming breaks. In Portugal, in addition to its premium channel, Globo also offers a basic channel focused on dramas, featuring telenovelas, sitcoms and variety programs. And in Africa, in Angola and Mozambique, the company has a basic channel called Globe ON with telenovelas, series and comedies that were hits around the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Globo is one of the largest media companies in the world, creating approximately 2,500 hours of entertainment and 3,000 hours of journalism a year in Brazil. Its network covers 98.6% of the Brazilian territory, reaching 99.5% of the country\u2019s population. Well known for the quality of its productions, Globo has already won 12 International Emmys.
