The copyright law in the West began in 1710 with the Statute of Queen Anne and is recognized as one of the fundamental human rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.<\/p>\n

To balance the interest of innovators and the public interest, the intellectual property system seeks to foster an enabling environment for creativity and innovation to thrive.<\/p>\n
