Boogie Oogie<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

One of Globo\u2019s highlights in the Natpe Budapest 2016 is the laid-back and classic story of \u2018Boogie Oogie\u2019, which has recently been licensed to the TVN network, in Panama. Filled with romance and plenty of secrets, the plot revolves around Sandra (Isis Valverde, \u2018Brazil Avenue\u2019), Rafael (Marco Pigossi, \u2018Rules of the Game\u2019) and Vit\u00f3ria (Bianca Bin, \u2018Precious Pearl\u2019). These young characters get caught in a love triangle in 1970\u2019s Rio de Janeiro, underscored by the main disco era hits. One of the Brazilian network\u2019s partners, TVN has already aired productions such as \u2018Trail of Lies\u2019 and \u2018Doomed\u2019. \u2018Boogie Oogie\u2019 is scheduled to premier in October.<\/p>\n

A smash hit no matter where it goes, \u2018Boogie Oogie\u2019 reached more than 17 million viewers (Source: Ibope) in Brazil. The telenovela also won over viewers in Chile and Costa Rica, and should be aired in Canada soon.<\/p>\n

The plot begins when fate makes Sandra, a humble and hard-working woman, and Vit\u00f3ria, a rich and spoiled brat, cross paths. Both of them meet because of a tragic accident and start fighting for the love of the same man. What they don\u2019t know is that their paths have crossed before, when they were switched at birth – a secret that can change the lives of everyone in the story.<\/p>\n

\u2018Boogie Oogie\u2019 features 1970s sets, costumes and soundtrack, accurately reproducing the environment and all of the glitter and glamour of the disco era.<\/p>\n

The cast includes world-class stars such as Deborah Secco (\u2018Irrational Heart\u2019), Alessandra Negrini (\u2018Side by Side\u2019), Let\u00edcia Spiller (\u2018Precious Pearl\u2019), and Francisco Cuoco (\u2018Sweet Mother\u2019 and \u2018Trail of Lies\u2019).<\/p>\n
