TELEMUNDO has gathered six of the most popular TV personalities in Spanish language television to share hosting duties at the 2016 edition of <\/span>“Premios Tu Mundo”<\/b> (Your World Awards) to be broadcast live on Thursday, August 25th, at 8PM\/7c from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The official hosts of this year’s award show include: <\/span>Rafael Amaya<\/b> and <\/span>Fernanda Castillo<\/b> from the ratings topping Super Series “El Se\u00f1or de los Cielos,” <\/span>Carlos Ponce<\/b> and<\/span>Maritza Rodriguez<\/b> from the current romantic comedy “Silvana Sin Lana,” and <\/span>David Chocarro <\/b>and<\/span> Aracely Arambula<\/b> from the upcoming production “La Do\u00f1a.” <\/span>The highly anticipated awards event, which is produced by TELEMUNDO and Adventure Productions, will be preceded by the now traditional blue carpet special <\/span>“La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” <\/b>at 7PM\/6c. <\/span><\/p>\n

The blue carpet special will be hosted by <\/span>Rashel Diaz<\/b>, <\/span>Jorge Bernal<\/b> and <\/span>Jessica Carrillo<\/b>, with special participation from fashion specialist <\/span>Quique Usales<\/b>. After the award show, the night will culminate at 11:35PM\/10:35c with <\/span>“Premios Tu Mundo Acceso VIP,” <\/b>a behind-the-scenes special hosted by <\/span>Jessica Carrillo<\/b> and <\/span>Karim Mendiburu<\/b>, with fashion by <\/span>Quique Usales<\/b> and social reporter <\/span>Erika Csiszer<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Rafael<\/a>Rafael Amaya<\/b> (El Se\u00f1or de los Cielos) is without a doubt one of the best-known actors in television today, with a career that includes starring roles in successful TELEMUNDO original productions, theater, English and Spanish-language movies, and European television series. The leading man, who has also served as co-host of “The Billboard Mexican Music Awards,” “The Billboard Latin Music Awards,” and the first-ever broadcast of “Premios Tu Mundo,” starred earlier this year in the fourth season of the Super Series “El Se\u00f1or de los Cielos”. The Mexican actor achieved crossover success in the Hallmark TV film “Meddling Mom,” the third-highest audience-rated production in the network’s history. Rafael has also diversified beyond acting, producing his first movie, “Paco & Santo vs. Am\u00e9rica” in 2009 and recently launching his first clothing line, Rafael Amaya Western Style.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"aracely-arambula--ok\"<\/a>Internationally-acclaimed Mexican star <\/span>Aracely Ar\u00e1mbula<\/b> has an artistic career that spans more than 15 years as an actress, host and singer. She has starred in dozens of highly-rated <\/span>novelas<\/span><\/i> in Mexico and around the world, such as “Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma” “Ca\u00f1averal de Pasiones” “Pueblo Chico Infierno Grande” “El Alma no tiene Color” and “So\u00f1adoras.” She had her first leading antagonist role on “Rencor Apasionado” in 1998 and two years later she played her first leading role in “Abr\u00e1zame muy Fuerte”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Carlos Ponce<\/b>, who will also perform at the event, is an internationally recognized Puerto Rican actor, singer-songwriter and host. He got his first role on TELEMUNDO’s soap opera “Guadalupe,” and his first leading role in the Mexican telenovela “Sentimientos Ajenos,” where he also sang the theme song. His self-titled debut album, “Carlos Ponce,” held the #1 spot for nine weeks in the Latin Billboard charts. In the “Billboard Hot Latin Tracks,” Carlos reached # 1 with “Rezo” and “Decir Adios.” He crossed over with guest starring roles on “Beverly Hills 90210,” “7th Heaven” and “Once and Again.” Most recently, he was on Nickelodeon’s “Hollywood Heights” and Eva Longoria’s “Telenovela,” and did voices for “FREE BIRDS” and “RIO.” He also joined forces with Disney in “The Pirate Fairy” and with ABC in the primetime hit comedy “Cristela”. <\/span><\/p>\n
