Meryl Streep<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

The new addition to the stellar\u00a0cast of the second installment of\u00a0BIG LITTLE LIES<\/em>\u00a0is Oscar\u00ae winner Meryl Streep who will play Mary Louise Wright, mother of Perry (Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd), who arrives in Monterrey in search of answers after the death of his son.<\/p>\n

Streep joins the\u00a0stars and executive producers Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon who will again play the roles of Celeste and Madeline respectively. David E. Kelley continues as the writer of this new seven-chapter\u00a0installment that is partially based on the story of Liane Moriarty, author of the book on which the original limited series was based.<\/p>\n

BIG LITTLE LIES<\/em>\u00a0was a hit among\u00a0fans and critics following its premiere in January of last year. The series received the most recognitions, more than any other production, in the respective categories obtaining more than eight Emmys\u00ae awards and four awards in the most recent delivery of the\u00a0Golden Globes\u00ae.<\/p>\n
