In 10 episodes, \u2018Nothing Remains the Same\u2019 tells the love story of Saulo (Murilo Ben\u00edcio, \u2018Brazil Avenue\u2019), a visionary and passionate man who dreams of creating Brazil\u2019s first TV network alongside Ver\u00f4nica (Debora Falabella, \u2018Brazil Avenue\u2019), who yearns to become a famous actress. Set in the mid-1950s, the limited series features the drama and changes experienced by the leading couple, as well as the revolution and innovation that marked the early days of television as we know it.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
\u201cThe late 1950s was a very rich period in Brazilian history; a time of social, political and cultural revolution marked by the liberation of women, the country\u2019s industrial development and the emergence of larger cities. Those years also saw the transfer of the nation\u2019s capital to Bras\u00edlia, Bossa Nova, Brazil winning the World Soccer Championship, and the birth of television.
