The murder of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the nation and the murder of her beloved brother-in-law Robert F. Kennedy shows how she joins in marriage with Greek multimillionaire Aristotle Onassis, who offers her and her children security and moves away from the Kennedys.<\/p>\n

It’s a story of survival. Ted Kennedy, challenged to pick up the mantle of his dead brothers, falls into alcoholism and infidelity. Here the event in Chappaquiddick in which a young woman died when Ted drove his car, an event never before dramatized on television, which ends with his chances of becoming president.<\/p>\n

In as much his relationship with Jackie that is stormy and emotionally loaded with love and passion, becomes the salvation of his life and, in many ways, the validation of hers.
\nThey were the royalty of the United States, but that June 4, 1968, the night of the assassination of Bobby Kennedy already postulated to be President closed the Kennedy cycle: A dynasty that was finished like all the dynasties end up.<\/p>\n

“The focus of the story is more intimate,” says writer and executive producer Stephen Kronish. “The story studies in depth in a very emotional way the struggles and lives of Jackie and Ted. And not the Kennedy family.”<\/p>\n

The story depicts Jackie Kennedy’s journey away from the Kennedy family with pressure to raise her two children and keep them away from the Kennedys. The miniseries on September 5 and 6 on Lifetime, adds to the attractive offers of the channel.<\/p>\n
