\u00a0NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, announced that it has just acquired the internationally renowned boutique production company Underground Producciones, based in Argentina. The new wholly owned subsidiary will become an extension of the successful Telemundo Global Studios to boost its growth capabilities and production of premium content for primetime and digital platforms. This agreement strengthens Telemundo’s position as the largest producer of Spanish-written content in the United States. The financial terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Then he was in charge of the artistic direction in Ideas del Sur, where he developed and produced critically acclaimed shows such as “Tumberos”, “Los Roldan”, “Disputas”, “Costumbres Argentinas” and the news format “Ser Urbano”.<\/p>\n In 2005 he founded Underground Productions, which has produced international successes that include “Educando a Nina”, “Los Exitosos Pells”, “Graduados”, “Historia de un Clan”, “Un Gallo para Esculapio”,\u00a0“100 D\u00edas para Enamorarse”, “Lalola, “El<\/p>\n Marginal”\u00a0and the blockbuster “El \u00c1ngel de Luis Ortega”, a co-production with the company El Deseo, of Pedro Almod\u00f3var, Telef\u00e9 and K&S Films.
