On the magenta carpet were paraded artists such as Sebasti\u00e1n Yatra, David Bisbal, Jhay Cort\u00e9z, Carlos Rivera, J\u00a0Balvin, and personalities such as Niurka, Galilea Montijo and Janney Mar\u00edn Rivera, better known as Chiquis Rivera.<\/p>\n
J Balvin was honored as a World Icon<\/strong><\/p>\n With a video that made a tour of the Colombian singer J Balvin from its beginnings to the present, an introduction was made to the act that the reggaetonero would present with a medley because they would give him the World Icon Award.<\/p>\n At the same time, on a stage with a table, chairs and dancers dressed in white, the Colombian began singing the first single from the album Colores, “Blanco”. So from icon to world icon, much respect, you deserve it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n In the midst of his great emotion, the Colombian said \u201cReceiving this from an icon as big as you, and without a doubt Daddy Yankee is one of the people who has inspired me to be what I am today, if it were not for the inspiration he has given me, I would not be here, so a round of applause for Daddy Yankee,\u201d said the Colombian and also grateful to other colleagues, said\u00a0\u201cAnd for all the artists who have inspired me, Nicky I love you\u00a0too, truly much respect. The Cangris who also always inspired me, Wisin, Yandel, Don Omar and Tego, to all thanks for the inspiration. I do not feel an icon, but I do feel like a great dreamer and I dedicate this award to Colombia,\u201d he exclaimed.<\/p>\n Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez and Raphael were honored at the awards. Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez dressed as a charro and interpreted \u201cTe Olvid\u00e9\u201d before receiving his statuette. Raphael joined David Bisbal in singing\u00a0\u201cQu\u00e9 Sabe\u00a0Nadie?\u201d.
