Univision, the Hispanic media company in the U.S., was awarded with four GLAAD Media Awards \u00a02020<\/span><\/a> in the Spanish-language categories for \u201cTV Fan Favorite,\u201d \u201cOutstanding Scripted Television Series,\u201d \u201cOutstanding TV Journalism-Newsmagazine\u201d and\u00a0 \u201cOutstanding TV Journalism Segment.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a long-standing commitment to empowering our audience and we take seriously the responsibility we have to ensuring that all members of our Latinx community feel seen, heard and represented in our content. These four awards are a testament to the dedication by our teams across the country\u2014we are honored to be recognized but most importantly, to be able to bring attention to and celebrate LGBTQ stories year-round,\u201d said Jessica Rodr\u00edguez, president of Entertainment and CMO of Univision.<\/strong><\/p>\n The 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. It was the first time the event was hosted virtually and streamed on GLAAD Facebook and YouTube channel.<\/p>\n TV Fan Favorite & Outstanding Scripted Television Series (Spanish-Language) El Corazon Nunca se Equivoca<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The coming of age series featuring a same-sex couple as leading characters follows the fan-favorite love story of Aristoteles and Cuauht\u00e9moc (Temo), better known as their couple name \u201cAristemo\u201d\u2014played by Emilio Osorio and Joaquin Bondoni\u00a0 that captured the attention of millions of fans around the world.
