Starring and executive\u00a0produced by Sofia Vergara, Koati follows the fun and exotic creatures of the latin american rainforest<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Marc Anthony Photo credit Alan Silfen<\/p><\/div>\n It was announced that Global Icon and Grammy Award-winning artist Marc Anthony and his Magnus Studios team will partner on Sofia Vergara\u2019s animated feature comedy, KOATI.\u00a0 Produced by Upstairs Animation<\/strong>, Latin WE Productions<\/strong> and Los Hijos de Jack<\/strong>, KOATI follows\u00a0three unlikely heroes: Nachi, a free-spirited coat\u00ed; Xochi, a fearless monarch butterfly, and Pako, a hyperactive glass frog, as they embark on an adventure to stop a wicked coral snake Zaina (Vergara) from destroying their homeland and friends.<\/p>\n The project\u2019s soundtrack, executive produced by Anthony and produced by\u00a0Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Julio Reyes\u00a0Copello<\/strong>, will include 10 original songs performed by some of the most notable names in Latin music and will be released on the Magnus\/Sony Music Latin labels and will be distributed by Sony Music Latin worldwide.<\/p>\n \u201cI am thrilled to join Sofia in a project where for the first time a renowned\u00a0team of Hispanic producers, music stars, comedians, and actors come together outside of Hollywood to create an animated movie\u00a0set up in the Latin American rainforests, which I feel is really exciting and long overdue.
