The Colombian capital city is a popular location for the production of both national and international television. Among those attending the summit will be writer Bogota native Fernando Gaitan, the author of successful telenovelas \u2018Caf\u00e9 con aroma de mujer\u2019 and \u2018Yo soy Betty la fea\u2019. Pedro Torres,\u00a0Mexican producer of the series \u2018Mujeres Asesinas\u2019, will hold a conference at the convention. The Meeting of Latin American Writers will also be held in conjunction with the summit. Among the themes to be discussed at the summit are \u2018the adaption of history to television\u2019, \u2018television versus literature\u2019, \u2018the similarity betwen soap operas and best sellers\u2019 and \u2018what is a well told story\u2019.
