In the presence of the president of Mexico, Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, Azteca gathered\u00a0its artistic talent, executives, customers and personalities from politics and business to celebrate its 20th anniversary and TVMAS was present. The event held in Mexico City on September 18\u00a0at the Azteca Novelas <\/em>installations, was in charge of journalists and television pioneers, Paty Chapoy and Javier Alatorre, the latter began with a remembrance of the two decades of the company, stressing that 20 years after its birth, Azteca is the second largest content producer\u00a0in Spanish, with over 18,000 hours of\u00a0programs in the air that are exported to 90 countries.<\/p>\n With the arrival of the president of Mexico, the celebration began, where the second largest television network in the country, presented part of\u00a0its musical talent, prior to the speech of the president of Grupo Salinas.<\/p>\n “20 years ago we fulfilled a dream and we joined the\u00a0media transformation, we now have 300 stations in the country with coverage in the United States, Guatemala and Honduras. Currently we\u00a0have 40% of the daily TV audience in Mexico and a third of the advertising investment. We were the first to broadcast production\u00a0in HD and 3D TV. Azteca in 1993 was a proposal and today is a world-class company,” said Ricardo Benjamin Salinas Pliego, chairman of Grupo Salinas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n For his part, the president of Mexico, Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, highlighted the efforts and achievements Salinas Pliego and his team have achieved with\u00a0Azteca after the fierce competition of the democratic and pluralistic country. “Mexico has level information needs of first world countries and companies must take the lead.
