ICEX Spain Trade & Investment has published the updated edition of the “Who is Who Animation from Spain 2022” guide, dedicated to the Spanish companies in the animation and visual effects sector with active projects for the current year and international potential<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The dossier offers a detailed compendium of Spanish animation production and distribution companies<\/strong>, their main projects and contact details. It also includes profiles of technology services<\/strong> companies related to animation and VFX, as well as updated information on the numerous tax incentives<\/strong> available in Spain for both domestic productions and international co-productions. The sector once again demonstrates its confidence in this initiative, with the number of participating companies increasing up to 72, 18%<\/strong> of which are new additions. This edition also showcases the new corporate identity<\/strong> developed by ICEX for Animation from Spain<\/em>, as part of the recently launched rebranding for the Audiovisual from Spain<\/em> umbrella brand.<\/p>\n

With a clear international vocation and published in English, the guide (which can be downloaded free of charge at this link<\/a>) will be used as a promotional tool<\/strong> at all the international trade fairs and markets in which ICEX usually participates with its own pavilion for Spanish companies.<\/p>\n

Thus, its launch coincides with the celebration in March of two major international animation events, such as Kidscreen Virtual Summit<\/strong> and Cartoon Movie<\/strong>, in Bordeaux.\u00a0 A number of Spanish companies have already confirmed their attendance to Kidscreen Summit Virtual, the online edition of the famous Miami market (with its live event being postponed until July). These include \u00c1nima Kitchent, Birdland Entertainment, Blackout Productions, DeAPlaneta Entertainment, Hampa Studio, Koyi, Peekaboo Animation, Puro Digital, Tomavision Studio, We Love Animation, Zinkia Entertainment<\/strong> or Zip Zap Producciones<\/strong>, as well as the public entities Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural, Canarias ZEC<\/strong> and the Sociedades de Promoci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica de Gran Canaria<\/strong> and Tenerife<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ICEX continues to work on new editions of its guides “Games from Spain<\/strong>“, for the video games and entertainment software sector; and “Who is Who Shooting in Spain<\/strong>“, which will compile information on Spanish production services companies for international shooting attraction.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
