Univision<\/a> announced the premiere date for \u201cEl \u00daltimo Rey: El Hijo del Pueblo,\u201d the anticipated bioseries about music legend Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez starring Mexican singer and actor Pablo Montero. \u201cEl \u00daltimo Rey: El Hijo del Pueblo,\u201d by the renowned TV producer Juan Osorio, will premiere in the U.S. on May 17 at 10 p.m. ET on Univision.<\/p>\n

From his humble beginnings to his rise to fame and everything in between, \u201cEl \u00daltimo Rey: El Hijo del Pueblo\u201d tells the aspirational story of the life and legacy of Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez, the King of Ranchera music. Audiences will relive Fernandez\u2019s most important moments in life, including events that defined him, his great love story, personal tragedies, and the sacrifices he made that turned him into the beloved cultural icon he became.<\/p>\n
