Capping off another record-setting year of unprecedented success, Endemol Shine Boomdog, part of Banijay Americas and leader in content and production in Latin America and the US Hispanic market, today announced a series of promotions designed to further strengthen the company’s position in the market.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Javier P\u00e9rez Teuffer<\/p><\/div>\n

Javier P\u00e9rez Teuffer<\/strong>, an industry leader currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Affairs, has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, P\u00e9rez Teuffer will lead the areas of Operations and Legal, as well as Entertainment Production, optimizing efficiency at all stages. As part of this transition, Julia Tradd, Executive Director of Physical Production (Unscripted), and her production teams will all report directly to Javier P\u00e9rez Teuffer.<\/p>\n

With a distinguished career in the entertainment industry, Javier has held various positions, including Executive Director of Operations at Teleset M\u00e9xico of Sony Pictures Television<\/strong>, where he was also part of the production strategy committee for Latin America. Additionally, he has overseen the operations of comedy and entertainment productions, including successful programs such as “\u00bfQui\u00e9n es la M\u00e1scara?”, “Me Caigo de Risa”, and “Familias Frente Al Fuego,” among others.<\/em><\/p>\n

Frank Scheuermann<\/p><\/div>\n

Frank Scheuermann,<\/strong> currently Senior Vice President and Head of Unscripted, will assume the role of Unscripted Chief Content Officer (CCO). In this position, he will oversee all activities related to current content and development, including formulating content strategies to ensure the success of its clients and the company, as well as increasing sales. With over 20 years of experience in entertainment formats, mainly in the Latin American market, Scheuermann has led successful projects such as “\u00bfQui\u00e9n es la M\u00e1scara?,” “Me Caigo de Risa,” and “La Casa de los Famosos.” His contribution to the success of programs like “\u00bfQui\u00e9n Quiere Ser Millonario?,” “Bake Off,” “Survivor,” “Popstars,” “The X Factor,” “Got Talent,” and “Shark Tank”<\/em> which distinguish him as a prominent leader in the industry.<\/p>\n

Adri\u00e1n S\u00e1enz<\/p><\/div>\n

As part of these changes, Adri\u00e1n S\u00e1enz, has been promoted to Operations Executive Director.<\/strong> <\/span>In this role, S\u00e1enz will continue reporting to Javier P\u00e9rez Teuffer and will lead not only Operations and Facilities but also Communication, Public Relations, New Business, and Digital.<\/p>\n

This year, Endemol Shine Boomdog has experienced many highlights due to the immense success achieved with their clients. Notable projects include the hit show “La Casa de los Famosos M\u00e9xico,”<\/em> which reached over 530 million people across Mexico through 61 broadcasts on free-to-air television, from its premiere on June 4, 2023, until the grand finale. The success of this program led to the creation of “Wendy Perdida Pero Famosa,”<\/em><\/strong> starring viral sensation Wendy Guevara, created exclusively for ViX<\/strong>. Additionally, Endemol Shine Boomdog<\/strong> produced the first international version of the reality competition created by Banijay Productions France, “Los 50,” marking a milestone in the company’s success when it aired on Telemundo.<\/p>\n

All the mentioned leaders are based at the Endemol Shine Boomdog headquarters in Huixquilucan, and the team eagerly anticipates the next chapter of success with these strategic changes in its structure.<\/p>\n
