The Spanish production company Plano a Plano set its sights on actors Miguel Herr\u00e1n and Ar\u00f3n Piper to be the protagonists of La tregua, directed by Miguel \u00c1ngel Vivas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The film, based on real events, shows Reyes (Herr\u00e1n) and Salgado (Piper), two soldiers who fought on opposite sides during the Spanish Civil War but who must share the suffering and hope in a Soviet gulag during World War II. A coexistence that will force them to join forces against the cold, hunger and horror that lives between the barbed wire. They will reveal their ideologies to discover the person hidden under each uniform.<\/p>\n It is a co-production of Spassks99, AIE, Amanat Capital, LTD and Umaifilm, LLP, with the collaboration of Netflix, the participation of RTVE and the creation of Plano a Plano Bilbao. C\u00e9sar Ben\u00edtez, Emilio Amar\u00e9 and \u00c1lvaro Ben\u00edtez are the producers of the first film from this production company and C\u00e9sar Ben\u00edtez and Emilio A.
