THE STORY.<\/strong> It tells the story of the confrontation between two women marked by hatred, recalling great literary classics. Four 50-minute episodes, it is produced by Atresmedia, in collaboration with Fonte Films.<\/p>\n

Carmelo G\u00f3mez<\/strong> completes the cast, along with Marcos Ruiz<\/strong> and other great actors and actresses. Atreseries Internacional<\/a> exclusively premieres ‘The Shadow of the Earth’, Atresmedia’s new original series. This intense and harsh rural drama is based on the novel of the same name by actress Elvira M\u00ednguez (El tiempo entre costuras; sin identidad<\/em> and presunto culpable<\/em>), who now directs the project.<\/p>\n

In ‘La sombra de la tierra’ Adelfa Calvo (Garibalda) and Mar\u00eda Morales (Atilana) are the main protagonists, whose relationship is based on extreme hatred, reminiscent of some of the great literary classics. Thus, while Garibalda is an ailing woman who rules the townspeople with an iron fist, Atilana is a widow who barely manages to sustain a once-sufficient farm.<\/p>\n

‘The Shadow of the Earth,’ consisting of four 50-minute episodes, is also available on Atresmedia’s streaming platform.<\/p>\n
