Filming begins on July 7 and will span 15 weeks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Movistar Plus begins filming &#8220;Iru\u00f1a 97&#8221; on July 7 in Pamplona; production will continue for 15 weeks across Biscay and Pamplona. This production by Buend\u00eda Estudios Bizkaia, with the participation of Movistar Plus, is based on an original idea by Natxo L\u00f3pez (\u2018Perdida\u2019, \u2018Entrev\u00edas\u2019), co-written with <\/span><b>Marina Par\u00e9s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>David P\u00e9rez Sa\u00f1udo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. P\u00e9rez Sa\u00f1udo (\u2018Ane\u2019), (\u2018Los \u00daltimos Rom\u00e1nticos\u2019) is directing. <\/span><b>Tom\u00e1s Silberman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Pepe Ripoll<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> serve as executive producers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>THE STORY<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The series (6 x 45 minutes), set in 1997, is an action thriller. The series recreates a criminal investigation led by Amaia, a municipal police officer played by <\/span><b>Clara Galle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (\u2018Olympo\u2019, \u2018Ni una M\u00e1s\u2019), and Julio, a National Police inspector (<\/span><b>\u00c1lvaro Cervantes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), set against the backdrop of the San Ferm\u00edn festival. The pair represents two conflicting sides of Pamplona, \u200b\u200byet they must join forces to solve a case that proves far more complex than anticipated. Joining Clara Galle and \u00c1lvaro Cervantes in the cast are Pablo G\u00f3mez-Pando, Karra Elejalde, Mar\u00eda Pujalte, Patxi Freytez, Josu Iriarte, Josean Bengoetxea, Itsaso Arana, Fernando Albizu, Ainhoa \u200b\u200bSantamar\u00eda, Miriam Rubio, and Paula Usero, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>San Ferm\u00edn, 1997.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> An unidentified body is discovered on the city walls. Authorities dismiss it as a typical festival-related accident, but Amaia (Clara Galle), a young municipal police officer, suspects murder. Defying her superiors, she involves Julio (\u00c1lvaro Cervantes), a National Police homicide detective who has just returned to Pamplona. Despite their differences, the two join forces to investigate a case that turns out to be far more complicated than expected.
