It is directed by C\u00e9sar Opazo and written by Jaime Morales.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHow lovely and entertaining. I think it\u2019s wonderful!\u201d remarks renowned Chilean writer and filmmaker Pablo Illanes regarding Canal 13\u2019s upcoming project for July. The vertical telenovela \u2018Mira de qui\u00e9n te burlaste\u2019 set to premiere on the channel&#8217;s digital platforms in the coming weeks will serve as a tribute to \u2018Fuera de Control\u2019, one of the most iconic telenovelas beloved by the Chilean public and a cult classic in the history of Chilean television.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>KEY FACT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018Fuera de Control\u2019 aired on Canal 13 during the first half of 1999. It told the revenge story of Silvana Maldonado (\u00darsula Achterberg), the victim of a cruel prank that resulted in her stepfather\u2019s death and left her with severe facial burns. Twelve years later, having physically recovered, she decides to exact revenge on those responsible, starting with the villains Axel Schumacher (Luciano Cruz-Coke) and Sarita Mellafe (Paulina Urrutia). It features a cast of prominent stars, including Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Illanes, Dami\u00e1n Bodenh\u00f6fer, Victoria de Gregorio, Diego Ruiz, and Coca Guazzini, all under the direction of C\u00e9sar Opazo and written by Jaime Morales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The successor to \u2018Un coraz\u00f3n como el tuyo\u2019 centers on Silvana Mardones (Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Illanes), a beautiful taxi driver bearing the emotional scars of a past marked by school bullying. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she happens to pick up Eric Fern\u00e1ndez (Dami\u00e1n Bodenh\u00f6fer) the man who cruelly humiliated her fifteen years ago over her weight and whom she has never been able to forget. Realizing that he does not recognize her due to her physical transformation she is now slim Silvana decides to infiltrate his workplace at a prestigious vineyard to exact cold, calculated revenge. Channel 13 is known for having hosted the most important drama department in the history of our fiction programming.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding \u2018Fuera de control\u2019, the writer notes, \u201cIn the last 27 years, I\u2019ve basically done it all I\u2019ve been involved in projects that failed miserably and others that were astronomically successful but no telenovela, whether a hit, a phenomenon, a mediocre effort, or anything else, compares to the \u2018Fuera de control\u2019 fanbase. I believe the audience that followed \u2018Fuera de control\u2019 was forever marked by some of its characters. Regardless of whether the story has aged well or poorly, I think it had a profound psychological impact on an entire generation. I\u2019m not entirely sure if that generation watched it during its initial run or the rerun since it actually performed better the second time around but it is a telenovela that met the psychological expectations of many people.
