Univision, transmitted to all United States and Latin America the 27th Edition of\u00a0Premio lo Nuestro\u00a0<\/i>Latin music, an award of long history in this country that has been characterized from the beginning by rewarding the most prestigious representatives of the Latin music world through the premio\u00a0A La Excelencia<\/i>.<\/p>\n
The gala ceremonies organized with the unmistakable seal of Univision the largest Spanish television network in the US and market leader. There was no doubt of its scope and high production levels. The three-hour show was presented by Galilea Montijo and actor Cristi\u00e1n de la Fuente in an unforgettable evening with more than 25 performances, duets, premieres, many tributes and touching moments.<\/p>\n
Latin pop icon Ricardo Arjona received the prestigious\u00a0Premios a la Excelencia Award\u00a0<\/i>while Laura Pausini was recognized with the\u00a0Award for Musical Career<\/i>. Countless celebrities were present with unique performances like the Colombian urban music singer J Balvin, Man\u00e1, Shakira and Ricky Martin with the debut of his latest production\u00a0Disparo al Corazon.<\/i><\/p>\n
Among the artists who also delighted the audience with their performances were Thal\u00eda, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, Juanes, Pitbull, Prince Royce, Gente de Zona, Camila, Calibre 50, Victor Manuelle and Marco Antonio Solis. Spanish star Enrique Iglesias and New York bachatero Romeo Santos were the big winners of the night.<\/p>\n
One of the special moments was the homage offered to the Mexican Roberto G\u00f3mez Bola\u00f1os, known as\u00a0Chespirito<\/i>, who passed away last November.<\/p>\n
Premio Lo Nuestro<\/i>\u00a0annually recognizes excellence in four genres of Latin music: Pop, Tropical, Mexican Regional and Urban. A total of 97 artists integrated the list of nominees in 31 categories where all the winners were chosen by fans, who voted through\u00a0PremioLoNuestro.com.<\/p>\n
