Keshet International appointed Sebastian Burkhardt as the new head of development\u00a0and acquisitions, after his departure from Banijay International where he served as VP of international distribution. In Keshet he will seek new business opportunities in the areas of co-production and project financing. Will continue based in UK and will report to the Managing Director of Distribution Keshet International, Keren Shahar, who noted of Burkhardt his ‘talent and experience’ in international business.<\/p>\n

The company states the intention of strengthening its programming sales strategy significantly in the next twelve months. With\u00a0DIG\u00a0<\/i>drama series released by USA Network in the US and several other series in English in the air, the catalog of the distributor has grown considerably. \u201cI am absolutely delighted to join Keshet International at such an exciting time. It means the possibility of working with the programming catalog most envied in the industry and a great management team with very ambitious growth plans,\u201d Burkhardt said.<\/p>\n

Before joining Keshet, Sebastian was SVP of International Distribution Banijay International, after having joined the company in early 2009 and played a key role in its expansion.
