Pasion y Poder <\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Telenovela heartthrob Fernando Colunga hits the small screen again but this time interpreting a villain as he competes against Jorge Salinas for the love of Susana Gonzalez and for power in Televisa\u2019s latest super production, \u201cPasi\u00f3n y Poder\u201d (Passion and Power).<\/p>\n

Univision Network\u2019s new primetime telenovela, \u201cPasi\u00f3n y Poder\u201d chronicles the love stories and fight for power of two feuding families. A rivalry that originated in each men\u2019s youth, when Eladio G\u00f3mez Luna (Fernando Colunga<\/strong>) and Arturo Montenegro (Jorge Salinas<\/strong>) both fell in love with the beautiful Julia Vallado (Susana Gonzalez<\/strong>). Julia and Arturo were set to wed when the bride-to-be learns that her fianc\u00e9 has cheated on her and impregnated another woman during a boozy night out. Heartbroken, Julia marries Eladio out of spite.<\/p>\n

Years later, Julia is a very unhappy woman and is suffering at the hands of her cruel husband. Her only consolation is her son David (Jos\u00e9 Pablo Minor<\/strong>). Meanwhile, Arturo decides to marry Nina (Marlene Favela<\/strong>), an attractive but frivolous and ambitious woman with whom he has three children: Erick (Alejandro Nones<\/strong>), Daniela (Irina Baeva<\/strong>), and Regina (Michelle Renaud<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Julia and Eladio\u2019s son, David G\u00f3mez Luna, is the complete antithesis of his father. As fate would have it, he and Regina are both working in the same place and it was love at first sight despite knowing their fathers\u2019 hatred towards each other.<\/p>\n

Julia and Arturo struggle to give their love a second chance and must surmount the obstacles in their way. Each of them will have to make a decision and fight for what controls their lives\u2026Passion and Power.<\/p>\n

This telenovela marks the debut of \u201cEl Gordo y La Flaca\u2019s<\/strong>\u201d Danilo Carrera<\/strong> in a Televisa production. Carrera will be playing Colunga\u2019s illegitimate son, Franco Herrera.<\/p>\n
