NATPE, held this year in Hungary from the 23rd to the 26th, demonstrated its global leadership. This year’s innovative event in Miami also consolidated the event’s position in the CEE and Central European regions.
NATPE BUDAPEST POSITIVE FACTS. More than 750 delegates from 67+ countries, including 400+ buyers. More than 100 exhibitors. With an innovative program, ‘NATPE Honors Europe’ celebrated the bold voices and visionary leaders who are transforming the European media landscape.
SUITABLE INITIATIVES. Inviting thought leaders and influential industry figures, including YouTube’s Andreas Briese and leading broadcasters and streamers from Central and Eastern Europe, such as George Levendis of ANT1 TV, Stella Litou of RTL Croatia and Pro Plus Slovenia, and Levente Málnay of AMC.
MAJOR STUDIOS. Among them, Sony Pictures, A+E Global Media, and Lionsgate Entertainment, offered an immersive, high-level environment, presenting content ranging from fiction and factual dramas to entertainment formats.
Realscreen. The leading authority on non-fiction and unscripted programming premiered its flagship format “30 Minutes With,” featuring László Gáspár of AMC Networks Central Europe, as well as a “Future Formats” segment with companies such as Seafood TV, Paprika Studios Group, ZPR Media, and Starlight Media.
The flagship competition, Pitch & Play Live, organized by CEETV, highlighted the most innovative international unscripted formats.

SEVERAL PARTNERSHIP AND LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENTS. Among them, All3Media International signed with CANAL+ Polska more than 130 hours of programming across multiple genres, as well as diverse factual entertainment programming.
Studio TF1 America closed a three-year deal with Network4, one of Hungary’s leading commercial networks, to add 200 films to Network4’s portfolio of channels and streaming platforms, offering Hungarian audiences a robust entertainment offering.

Manjyot Sandhu, former Head of Global Syndication at Zee Entertainment, announced the launch of NARaTiV, a next-generation content distribution, acquisitions, and creator financing company backed by Copyright Capital, one of the world’s largest creator funds.
FOX Entertainment Global (FEG) announced a wave of content sales in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including scripted and unscripted series and films. The announcement was made by Prentiss Fraser, President of FOX Entertainment Global. In the Czech Republic, FTV Prima acquired a package of films. HRT Croatia acquired rights to two high-profile fiction titles. Media4fun of Poland renewed a package of several titles.
Cineflix Rights closed sales of over 450 hours of lifestyle and travel content in the Central and Eastern European region on the eve of the event. TV3 Group Baltics acquired over 200 hours of content.

PAVILIONS FROM VARIOUS COUNTRIES. ROMANIA PARTICIPATED FOR THE FIRST TIME. FEPIC Director Mihai Lupu brought a representation of production companies with a content offering and also to attract co-productions and film shoots for series and films, and to involve other cultural and entertainment industries such as music in Romania.
SUCCESSFUL LOGISTICS. Expanded networking experiences, efficient floor access, organized business centerpieces, and excellent hotel services helped participants and exhibitors make the most of every moment. And, of course, the epic NATPE Boat Party, an unforgettable evening of celebration with breathtaking views from the Danube River, rounded off a successful event offering a platform for premium regional content and varied opportunities for global collaboration.
