MIP Africa 2025 will take place from September 1-3 as part of Fame Week 2025 in Cape Town, focusing on the African film and television industry.

The FAME Short Film Festival returns this year with a powerful platform dedicated to short-form narrative from across the African continent and the diaspora. From September 4-6 at the iconic Labia Theatre, this year’s program features 31 short films exploring themes of defiance, belonging, intimacy, and disruption under the themes: Here for the Underdogs!, Night Terrors, We Trust in Family, and Tender Disturbance.
Designed for cinephiles, producers, and industry leaders, FAME Shorts invites audiences into a world of condensed, high-impact cinema.
