Caracol Studios brings the Agatha Christie–inspired mini-series Jones. Set during a glamorous house party that ends in murder, the story follows Inspector Oliver Jones, a detective with an unusual gift: he can communicate with the dead. As he investigates the case, Jones finds himself trapped inside a wealthy family where everyone has something to hide, and no one is telling the full truth.

Blending drama, mystery and sharp sarcasm, Jones is the latest series written and directed by acclaimed Portuguese filmmaker Bruno Gascon, who describes the project as “a mysterious and thrilling journey, inviting viewers into a world where neither the living nor the dead tell the whole truth.”

The series features a standout cast led by Amanda Abbington (Sherlock) and some of Portugal’s most popular actors, including Rafael Morais (Berlinale Shooting Star 2024), José Pimentão as Inspector Jones, Laura Dutra as Júlia (the victim), and more.

Jones is a 6-episode mini-series, co-produced by Caracol Studios and RTP, in association with ORF-Enterprise, and supported by the Tourism and Cinema Fund of Portugal. Languages: Portuguese and English. Subtitles: English. The screening will be followed by a conversation with the director, actor Rafael Morais and Amanda Abbington.
