Javier Fernández has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tivify, a company within the TVUP Streaming Media group. He assumes the executive leadership of the company in this new phase, aligned with Tivify’s strategy of growth, operational autonomy, and consolidation within the television and streaming entertainment ecosystem.

Javier Fernández has over twenty years of experience in the strategic definition and management of consumer-oriented digital products and services in the technology and telecommunications sector, with extensive experience at Vodafone Spain. Throughout his career, he has driven the growth of digital businesses and the evolution of commercial offerings in highly competitive environments.

With a direct impact on revenue, operational efficiency, and service adoption, Javier Fernández has led the design, launch, and scaling of entertainment, Internet of Things (IoT), and connectivity solutions. His profile combines strategic vision, a user-centric approach, and strong execution skills, supported by a background in business administration and management and a master’s degree in Sales and Marketing Management.

During his time at Vodafone Spain, he held positions of responsibility in the areas of Content Services, IoT, and Home Connectivity. Key achievements include the exclusive launch of Netflix in Spain, the development and scaling of the residential IoT business, and the introduction of the first premium Wi-Fi 6 connectivity service in the Spanish market. These initiatives contributed to expanding the user base, consolidating new revenue streams, and positioning Spain as one of the group’s key markets.
