María Jesús Pérez, International Commercial Director of RTVE, in this conversation with TVMAS said that the announcement of the co-production of ‘Cicatriz’, an action thriller at MIPCOM, has been very popular.

The renowned executive says that this co-production “is different news about the adaptation of a work that includes countries like Mexico, Spain, and Serbia. It is a story that happens in Serbia and Spain. This action thriller, without a doubt, is an ambitious project that opens a new path in international collaborations and will be a great fiction with an impact on the global market” said the Director María Jesús Pérez.
The eight-episode series will be filmed between Serbia and Spain and filming begins in early November. It has the collaboration of the pan-European production studio Asacha Media Group. The Serbian production company Adrenalin will handle the service in Serbia and RTVE has joined, as well as Amazon Prime Video and Telekom Srbija. This international adaptation will be produced by Plano a Plano, Asacha and Dopamine.
María Jesús Pérez, expert executive, also highlighted several high-caliber series such as ‘La Promesa‘ and ‘Dos Vidas‘ signed and closed for LATAM. Among the new features she mentions ‘4 Estrellas’, a daily family series that has aroused a lot of interest, as well as ‘Operación Vaduples‘, a story set during the Second World War in Huelva.
