With 6 nominations, Close Your Eyes and The Snow Society are the Spanish productions with the most options on the list of 20 nominations per category in the 11th Edition of the PLATINO XCARET Awards to be held in Mexico.
168 audiovisual works have been selected for the nomination that will be presented at the gala on April 20 at the Gran Tlachco Theater in the Mexican Xcaret Park, in Riviera Maya.
Productions from 23 Ibero-American countries selected by the executive committee of the awards, with the members of the jury.
The nominations by category have been revealed at the National Cinematheque in Mexico City with the presence of Juan Duarte Cuadrado, ambassador of Spain in Mexico, since it will be the host country of the 2024 and 2026 editions alternating with Spain.
