Vodafone has chosen The Channel Store, a European leader in video and advertising solutions for telecom operators, as its technology provider, exclusive aggregator, and advertising monetization partner for its FAST channel offering on all its 4K set-top boxes, both the most recent Android TV-based set-top boxes and its predecessors.

Starting this September, Vodafone TV and Lowi TV will have an initial portfolio of 30 FAST channels that complement the current offering with a wide variety of themes and genres for all tastes. These include sports channels such as LALIGA Inside, Motorvision TV, My Padel TV, and Rugby Spain; news channels such as El País; children’s programming such as Pocoyó; film channels such as Cines Verdi, Feel Good, Planeta de Cine, and Film&Co; and entertainment channels such as Oficios Perdidos, Love Wine, and Love the Planet.

The Channel Store brings extensive experience and deep knowledge of the telco sector, offering customized solutions such as the one implemented with Vodafone, FAST-IN-A-BOX. This solution is an evolution from the one offered to other Tier-1 operators and solves the challenge of serving both the latest and previous set-top boxes without the need for software updates, ensuring a new source of revenue and an attractive content offering.

Jesús Rodríguez, TV Director at Vodafone Spain.

“The Channel Store has been able to offer us a solution we’ve been seeking for some time, allowing us to strengthen our content offering across different genres, improve customer satisfaction, and generate advertising revenue, while ensuring user privacy and compliance with applicable regulations,” said Jesús Rodríguez, Director of TV at Vodafone Spain.

Fernando Garcia, CEO of The Channel Store.

“Our unique team and our expertise in video and advertising have proven that The Channel Store finds innovative solutions where other market players couldn’t, and the agility and collaboration with Vodafone’s TV team has been key to the solution’s success. The transition from pay TV to advertising-based models is a huge challenge for telcos, and The Channel Store is the best partner in this journey, covering FAST and other advertising revenue,” highlighted Fernando García, CEO of The Channel Store.

In just three years since its creation as a division of TVUP Streaming Media, The Channel Store has become a benchmark within the international audiovisual ecosystem. The company manages more than 250 channels, is integrated into more than 25 global, European, MENA, and local platforms, and has developed significant projects with Tier-1 operators, while consolidating its relationships with channel and platform owners.

It has also signed agreements with leading media agencies (Big 6) and independent agencies, reinforcing its capacity for collaboration and growth. Thanks to this track record, The Channel Store is positioned as a leading player in Europe in the field of 360° B2B video and advertising solutions, with a focus on the creation, distribution, and monetization of FAST channels.
