Telemundo the 24/7 streaming news channel, premieres NOW: Planet Earth, a new weekly program focusing on environmental and climate news, hosted by Emmy Award winner Vanessa Hauc, Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. ET.
Streaming in Spanish in the United States, it offers in-depth analysis and investigative reporting from cities in the United States and Latin America. It will also include interviews with key figures leading creative solutions to the impact of current climate change.
The program is a production of Planeta Tierra, the environmental and climate news unit of Noticias Telemundo, led by Hauc. This unit regularly produces multiplatform segments on climate, sustainability, and environmental issues, positioning Noticias Telemundo as the leader in Spanish-language news in the United States on this topic, according Nielsen.

Vanessa Hauc has reported on the environment for more than 15 years. She joined Noticias Telemundo in 2002 and has been an anchor since 2020. In 2022, she received an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Journalist in Spanish-language Media.
Manuela Guardia is the lead producer of Planeta Tierra. The original programming will be available for free on Noticias Telemundo AHORA, which launched last year and is widely distributed on streaming platforms such as Roku, YouTube, Samsung TV Plus, and Fire TV is also available on Peacock, NoticiasTelemundo.com, and the Noticias Telemundo app.
