Claudio Villavicencio, Director of the news department at Channel 13 Chile.
Claudio Villavicencio, Director of the News Department at Channel 13, says, “We receive this first place with humility, but also with great pride, because it is the result of the constant and honest work of the entire ‘Teletrece’ team. The success of ‘Central’ is the success of everyone who works in this News Department.”
Villavicencio emphasizes that “we see this result as a first step to continue consolidating the work we do, and it makes us very happy because it reflects the success of news in its purest form, without the help of festivals, sporting event finals, or national team matches.” He adds that “this is the consequence of hard and constant work that stands on the shoulders of a solid programming schedule that the channel has been building over this past period.”
For more than 55 years, “Teletrece,” Channel 13’s news program, has set the standard and trends with its news, reports, and breaking stories. In recent months it has grown significantly, especially its main edition, as demonstrated in this penultimate month of the year by defeating the competition.
