The rights have been signed with Paramount Global Content Distribution to adapt the acclaimed series “Ray Donovan” for local audiences. The agreement is signed by Andy Kaplan and Marcel Vinay Melgar.

The launch began this year with great enthusiasm among buyers, platforms, and television channels, who have their eyes on this project as one of the most anticipated events of the year. The adaptation promises a top-tier production, merging the best local talent with the internationally successful format.

KC Global and Comarex will work on developing the adaptation, incorporating authentic cultural elements from Mexico and Latin America. The partners promise to maintain the essence of the crime drama, action, and emotional depth that made the original series iconic.
The series has demonstrated great international appeal with a highly successful adaptation in India titled Rana Naidu, produced for Netflix and starring acclaimed actors Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati.

Released in 2023, it became one of the most-watched series in India, reaching number 1 on local charts for several consecutive weeks and appearing in Netflix’s global Top 10 for content in other languages, leading to its renewal for a second season. This remake demonstrated that stories of family loyalty, organized crime, personal redemption, and moral conflict resonate deeply with audiences beyond the United States. The format rights are licensed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
