Prime Video Announces the Global Premiere of The House of the Spirits

The adaptation of Isabel Allende’s iconic novel will be available internationally on April 29 following its successful debut at the Berlinale Film Festival.

The series is produced by FilmNation Entertainment, the multi-award-winning Academy Award-winning company behind Anora and Conclave.

At the 76th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), Prime Video announced that The House of the Spirits, the first Spanish-language television adaptation of Isabel Allende’s iconic novel, will premiere internationally on April 29 in more than 240 countries and territories.

Based on Isabel Allende’s acclaimed novel, this eight-episode family saga spans half a century and centers on three generations of women—Clara, Blanca, and Alba—in a conservative Latin American country marked by class struggle, political turmoil, and magic.

Alfonso Herrera (Rebel Moon) as Esteban Trueba, with Nicole Wallace (Nuestra Culpa) and Dolores Fonzi (Belén) portraying Clara del Valle at different stages of her life. The cast also includes Fernanda Castillo (El Señor de los Cielos) as Férula, Aline Kuppenheim (Una mujer fantástica) as Nivea del Valle, Eduard Fernández (La piel que habito) as Severo del Valle, Sara Becker (La contadora de peliculas) and Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho) as Blanca; Rochi Hernández as Alba (30 noches con mi ex), Juan Pablo Raba (Noticia de un secuestro) as Uncle Marcos; Pablo Macaya (El lugar de la otra) and Nicolás Contreras (Baby Bandito) as Pedro Tercero, among others.
