The Spanish format reaps a harvest of success and now is the Panama audience that since September 11, at 20:30 hours enjoy the local version with excellent results, according to network executives.

Averaging 14.2 peak rating and a share of 43% TVN presented a fun proposal, fresh and completely different than what is commonly seen on television in this country, channel sources said to TVMAS.

Among the judges of the competition are, Wyznick Ortega, Olga Paulette Thomas, Emilio Regueira, Miguel Esteban Gonzalez and Eddy Vasquez who judge the eight celebrities who should imitate great national and international singers.

Each participant has to interpret not only voice but also in body movements and gestures to a different artist each week. The makeup artists and costume designers will have to make 80 transformations, for which much of the necessary material was brought from abroad with the aim of achieving the best characterizations.

Tu Cara Me Suena will have 20 emissions which can be seen every Monday at 20:30 hours by the TVN screen.

This format has been licensed in 30 countries and this month two Latin American versions are released. The Panamá and Argentina version to be broadcast by Telefe later this September.
