Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic said that from next November 5, from Bogota the position of marketing and communications in Colombia is for Diana Montoya, who will report to Claudia Chagui, vice president of content for Colombia.
“We are proud to have the talent and experience that brings Diana to Discovery, to continue strengthening the image of our company in the country and promote the milestones of each of our business units,” said Felipe Cabrales Urdaneta, general manager in Colombia, DLA/USH.
Meanwhile, Chagui added: “We rely on her help to spread the content that Discovery offers our followers in Colombia, a market highly relevant and where our broad portfolio of brands continues to strengthen its leadership.”
In his new role, Montoya Gaviria will continue positioning the leadership of the portfolio of the channels DLA/USH, providing strategic direction and leading the implementation of communication and marketing initiatives in Colombia.
Before joining the company, Montoya Gaviria worked in the U.S. for communications agencies as Newlink and Acqua Communications, as well as the role of publicist for Colombian race car driver Juan Pablo Montoya. In addition, the executive has extensive experience as a radio announcer and news director, mainly on Radio Caracol.
