DUBAI INTERNATIONAL CONTENT MARKET 2025: Globo Showcases Telenovelas, Series, and Formats

The portfolio includes telenovelas, series, and both scripted and unscripted formats. As part of the official event program, on November 4 at 12:30 p.m., Globo will hold a showcase to present its main content and business models.

The showcase allows us to highlight the strength of our portfolio, with formats and titles that have great potential to connect with different audiences. The creation of the EMEA HUB in Portugal is an essential step in this movement. To strengthen the EMEA HUB team, Isadora Filpi will begin collaborating with partners in the region. With seven years of experience at Globo, she has accumulated expertise in different markets and has participated in significant content negotiations.

Participating in DICM is an opportunity to strengthen this relationship and present a portfolio that reflects the quality and global reach of our productions. Titles such as the telenovela Vale Todo, recently aired in primetime on TV Globo. The production is part of the network’s 60th anniversary celebrations and revisits one of the greatest classics of Brazilian television drama, originally broadcast in 1988. Adapted by Manuela Dias (Corazón de Madre, Justicia) and directed by Paulo Silvestrini (Sólo Confía), the plot addresses themes such as ethics, character, and family relationships. Vale Todo reached more than 141 million Brazilians and became the highest-grossing primetime telenovela in the network’s history.

Another Globo offering in Dubai is “Dueña de Mí” (Own Me), by Rosane Svartman, a Totally Diva. Currently airing in Brazil, the story follows Leona (Clara Moneke, from “Sólo Confía”), whose life is transformed by her relationship with Sofia (Elis Cabral), a seven-year-old girl she becomes the nanny for. Their encounter marks the beginning of a journey of affection, care, companionship, and human connection. With strong female characters, “Dueña de Mí” blends comedy, drama, romance, adventure, suspense, power struggles, and unexpected twists.

Globo’s portfolio for DICM also includes the telenovela formats “Totalmente Diva” and “A Vida Sigue,” both international hits, as well as the series “Intolerantes” and the variety shows “Family Size” and “Clause de Cocina” (Cooking Class).
