The initiative aims to position Buenos Aires as a strategic hub for production and to generate new opportunities for financing, co-production, and distribution within the local audiovisual industry, facilitated through targeted events and the presence of producers across these two business circuits.
MIPCOM in Cannes (October 12–15) is the world’s largest and most influential market; it brings together every sector of the content industry—including global studios, streaming platforms, digital creators, brands, and innovators in artificial intelligence.

MEETING IN BUENOS AIRES ON MAY 7
As the first step in this collaboration, the press release explains, representatives from both markets will participate in an audiovisual industry event to be held in the City of Buenos Aires on May 7. The event aims to provide concrete tools to strengthen the global reach of content developed in the city, bringing together key industry stakeholders and featuring panels focused on the role of markets in networking, access to financing, and collaboration opportunities.
“Within the framework of the event, new joint initiatives will be announced that will deepen this alliance and strengthen the connection between Buenos Aires and the international audiovisual ecosystem,” concludes the statement.
