Clúster Audiovisual de Madrid, 2026.
- With 136 members, the Board of Directors meeting—held at the SGAE headquarters—consolidates the growth of Madrid’s audiovisual ecosystem. Raúl Berdonés, representing Secuoya Content Group, renews his mandate as President of the Cluster.

The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster held its General Assembly at the SGAE headquarters—located in the Palacio de Longoria—with the participation of representatives from more than 50 member entities. The new Board of Directors confirms that Raúl Berdonés, representing Secuoya Content Group, will continue in his role as President of the Cluster.
While maintaining continuity among the majority of its members, the Board welcomes two new members: the audiovisual producers’ association PATE, represented by Fabia Buenaventura; and ECAM (the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts of the Community of Madrid), represented by Alba Wystraëte.
With this renewal, the Cluster reaffirms its objectives to boost Madrid’s standing as one of Europe’s leading hubs for audiovisual production, fostering collaboration among companies, institutions, and professionals within the film and audiovisual sectors.
With 136 members—including its two institutional partners, the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid—the Cluster stands as one of the leading platforms within the Spanish audiovisual industry.
Key Functions of the Cluster
Boosting the competitiveness and innovation of the audiovisual industry; promoting the international expansion of Madrid-based companies; developing initiatives focused on training, sustainability, and technological transformation; and creating networking spaces for production companies, distributors, platforms, financial institutions, public bodies, and other stakeholders within the audiovisual ecosystem.
During the assembly, the annual accounts and the activity report for 2025 were approved, as were the Code of Conduct and the protocol for the prevention of harassment. Raúl Berdonés expressed his gratitude for the support of the member entities and highlighted “the importance of continuing to work together to strengthen Madrid’s audiovisual ecosystem during a time of significant transformation and opportunity for the sector.”
Among the key initiatives championed by the Cluster in 2025 were the Madrid Audiovisual Investment Forum—which returned in 2026—and participation in international markets and festivals such as the Berlinale and the San Sebastián Film Festival. Other initiatives included professional networking events at Iberseries & Platino Industria, the launch of the Audiovisual Observatory, and participation in the Community of Madrid’s Strategic Audiovisual Plan.
The roadmap for 2026 will feature the second edition of “Un planeta de cine,” a special edition of ECAM FINDE, information sessions regarding sector-specific aid and subsidies, and the presentation of the Madrid Audiovisual Report.
