BIG Media, a company specializing in the production and distribution of premium non-fiction formats, has closed an international licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) in Spain for the broadcast of its new documentary series, ‘Unthinkable’. Through this partnership, the production will premiere exclusively in Spain on DMAX, a thematic free-to-air channel operated by the global conglomerate.
The series produced in partnership with the free-to-air channel NTV (owned by the German group RTL Deutschland) analyzes high-impact global events that transformed the course of contemporary societies. Comprising an initial run of ten sixty minute episodes, the project was developed under an international co-production model. The agreement underscores the growing demand for historical and journalistic content across the linear and digital platforms of major broadcasters.

‘Unthinkable’ analytically reconstructs grave events that drastically altered the institutional, political, and social structures of various nations. The program utilizes archival audiovisual footage and panels of experts to break down the origins and consequences of events with international repercussions, such as mass shootings, terrorist attacks, assassinations of high-profile figures, and global-scale catastrophes.
