Globo’s superproduction ‘Precious Pearl’, has just been licensed to Croatia. ‘Precious Pearl’ portrays a story of love between working-class Amélia (Bianca Bin, ‘The Enchanted Tale’) and millionaire Franz Hauser (Bruno Gagliasso, ‘Merciless’), and little Pearl, the couple’s daughter. This telenovela will be dubbed in Croatian and air on open channel HRT, with nationwide coverage. HRT has also aired other Globo’s hits such as ‘Side by Side’, ‘Little Missy’ and ‘Seven Women’.
With cinematic scenes shot in the Himalayas as well as period sets and costumes, ‘Precious Pearl’ reached more than 26 million people per day in Brazil (source: Ibope).
In Portugal, it also obtained positive results. Aired on Globo’s pay-TV channel, this telenovela constantly ranked among the 5 most-watched pay-TV shows in the country (source: GFK). In January, it premiered on Teledoce (Uruguay) and it was the second most watched program in the country in its slot during the first week of broadcasting.
‘Precious Pearl’ has also been licensed to Telemundo (Hispanic United States), Telemundo PR (Puerto Rico), media group EPG (South Korea), Armenia Public TV (Armenia), and TV5 Channel (Mongolia).
