Armoza Formats’ successful prime time singing competition was acquired by TV Latina channel in Peru. Under the name of“Los 4 Finalistas”, the local adaptation will have a first season of 19 episodes that will be broadcast live in primetime starting this week.
For the first time on television, the four finalists will be announced at the premiere of the season. Selected by a trio of expert music judges, only the best will become “The Last Four” and will live like stars. Anyone can become a competitor at any time through a special app, but only the best can challenge the four finalists.
Susana Umbert, Director of Entertainment in Latina: “Years of experience in international song formats have prepared us for the launching of the most ambitious format in the history of Peruvian television. With the most powerful voices in the country in a competition, with an international jury formed by Mega stars of music, and the return to television of the most beloved star of Peruvian rock, we are proud to bring this show to Peru.”
Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats: “With the worldwide success of ‘The Four’, we are delighted that Latina is the first to transmit it in the region and to make the first live version of the format. We firmly believe that this will allow even more the emotional connection with the spectators.”
